The Opportunity

We are seeking an Event Strategist & Business Development Manager to help drive the next phase of our growth.

This is not an order-taking sales position.

We are looking for a professional who can build relationships, create opportunities, develop business, and design production solutions that help clients achieve their goals.

The right candidate is equally comfortable networking at an industry event, making a cold call, walking a job site, meeting with a client, reviewing technical requirements, developing a proposal, and presenting a solution to decision-makers.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to our clients, helping them navigate technical, logistical, and budgetary considerations while developing long-term relationships that generate repeat business.

You will be expected to proactively create opportunities, not simply respond to them.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship building.
• Manage opportunities from initial inquiry through contract execution.
• Conduct client meetings, site visits, and needs assessments.
• Design event production solutions that align with client objectives and budgets.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the sales process.
• Collaborate with operations and production teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Identify opportunities for account growth and long-term partnerships.
• Represent Klassic Sound & Stage professionally within the event and hospitality industries.
• Consistently achieve revenue and business development objectives.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in live events, event production, hospitality, venue management, experiential marketing, AV integration, entertainment, or related industries.
• Experience in business development, sales, account management, event production, project management, or client services.
• Understanding of audio, video, lighting, staging, rigging, or event logistics is preferred but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout the region for client meetings and events.
